My Studio in Nazeing is a fully equipped Pilates studio in a tranquil garden setting.
I wanted it have retreat vibe and have kept it small with 2 Reformers, Towers, Wunda Chair & Ladder Barrel. Together with room for the essential mat work.
It’s a really lovely place to enjoy small group work or individual sessions. With specialised attention focussing on individual needs in a safe and supportive environment.

I discovered Pilates following a back injury and found that it not only gave me relief from back pain, but it also gave me some peace at a very stressful time in my life.
It literally created a safe space for me to tune in to what my body needed & gave me a full and balanced workout at the same time.
I was so passionate about the benefits of Pilates, that I decided to undergo the rigorous training required to qualify as a Body Control Pilates teacher. They had such a good reputation within the industry for their calibre of teaching & I wanted to get the best training I could.
I remain passionate about Pilates & truly believe that it can be of benefit to literally any body. Regardless of their fitness level, age or gender. So why not get in contact to see how I can be of benefit to you.

I personally continue to regularly attend classes, courses & undertake personal study to increase my skills & knowledge as a movement teacher.
As well as Pilates, I also study Anatomy, neuroscience, Somatics, Fascia & other movement techniques. Most recently I qualified as an Advanced FAMO teacher ( formerly Myosfascial Training).
This advanced qualification took years of hard work & intense study, but the improvements to body movement , both mine & my clients, are undeniable.
You can experience them for yourself in the move & massage classes.
I have a special interest in the Mind Body connection, Somatics & also neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s & MS.
From years of working with clients with these conditions, I understand the particular requirements needed & I love seeing the benefits in those I teach.
I also love teaching a good challenging Mat class too & use a variety of different props each class to challenge and deepen your understanding of the work & your body.

I have been a teacher at the prestigious Body control centre, Holborn for 9 years now. I have been teaching both student teachers and the public on the Equipment and the Matwork repertoire.
As a Supervising Teacher for BCP I guide student teachers assisting them with their training.
